Step 1: Planning Ahead The key to enjoying vacations is planning ahead. At the beginning of each year, I block off time on my calendar for vacations, even if I don’t have all the details figured out yet. This ensures I take necessary breaks to avoid burnout. I plan family vacations, bucket list trips, and several weekend getaways. Prioritizing these trips helps me stay motivated and refreshed.

Step 2: Building Lead Flow Having a system that generates a continuous flow of qualified leads and appointments is crucial. This abundance of business allows for an abundance mindset, making it easier to enjoy time off without worrying about where the next deal is coming from. Filling your pipeline with pending deals and appointments ensures you have business waiting for you when you return.

Step 3: Building Leverage Around Your Business Delegating tasks is essential to creating leverage at work. I have a showing assistant for buyers, a listing coordinator for sellers, a closing coordinator to finalize deals, and a marketing team to generate leads. An appointment setter stacks my calendar with qualified appointments, so I’m ready to sign new clients when I get back. This delegation makes taking time off manageable and less stressful.
